Each year, the Royal College residents select a consultant as the recipient of the Resident Teaching Award. The recipient is chosen because of their dedication to resident education. This not only includes teaching during shifts and core sessions, but also for giving time to summer school, ultrasound training, and exam preparation. This year, the residents have chosen Dr. Drew Thompson as the recipient of the Resident Teaching Award. Congratulations Drew! |

It is with much enthusiasm that I want to announce for those that may not know that there has been a changing of the guard for our program.
Dr. Christine Richardson has assumed the position of Program Director July 1 2010. She has been an invaluable member of the squad, and our Division in the role of Assistant PD for the last few years, and takes the reins with lots of great ideas.
Please welcome Dr Grant Coome as our new Assistant PD, also with vim and vigor, and I am so excited for our program.
If you have any promising young students or residents with questions, or to put them on our "radar", please let any of us know,
Thank you for the wonderful support you have given to the residents, myself and the enrichment of our CCFPEM program over the years. It is greatly appreciated.
