As the 2012 CaRMS season starts to heat up, London would like to welcome those interviewing here for positions in the FRCPC Emergency Medicine program!  We'll be hosting a Meet and Greet on Sunday Jan 29 at 7:30pm for pool, bowling and a casual dinner. The next morning you'll be coming to the Victoria Hospital for interviews There will be an opportunity to tour the hospitals and London in both mornings and afternoon with one of our residents.

Congratulations to Dr. David Ouellette on winning the Royal College resident's Teacher of the Year award! Each year the residents choose the staff who goes above and beyond the call of duty to teach residents, whether on shift, at academic half day or random passings in the hallway, Dr. Ouellette has definitely kept the residents on their toes! Additional congrats go out to Dr. Ouellette for winning the Clinical Pathological Cases Contest in the consultant's division this year at CAEP in St. John's, Newfoundland. Dr. Ouellette was presented with a challenging case by a resident from another program, which he worked through to a final diagnosis. Well done Dave!

Congratulations to the PGY5 residents, Dr. Heather Hames, Dr. Cimi Achiam and Dr. Karalyn Church on passing their Royal College Exams this past week!!! Thanks to the program directors, the residency training committee and all other staff for their mentorship, teaching and exam preparation over the past 5 years. Well done ladies!
